About my work

I’ve spent my life working alongside people who care deeply for their communities, for justice, and for the work they are called to do. I know both the beauty and the weight of this kind of work. It invites us to shape communities, tend to others, and pursue meaningful change.

The work is meaningful and often deeply personal. It’s also demanding, asking leaders to navigate complexity, hold competing needs, and sustain themselves along the way. I work with those committed to this kind of work who are looking for more clarity, capacity, and energy to continue doing it well.

I’ve seen leaders, ministers, and educators carry the complexities of human relationships, institutional dynamics, and the call to serve — often while quietly setting aside their own well-being.

But I’ve also seen the possibility that emerges when we reconnect with ourselves. Not by abandoning the work, but by discovering new ways of carrying it — with more presence, clarity, and energy.

What informs my work

My approach draws on a background that combines education, ministry, and leadership. I hold a Doctorate in Education and a Master of Divinity, and I am an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. For more than twenty years, I’ve worked alongside individuals, communities, and institutions, designing learning experiences, leading programs, offering pastoral care and mentoring, and helping organizations build relational and mission-aligned learning environments.

I’m a Professional Integral Coach™, accredited by the International Coaching Federation, and also have training in Hakomi Somatic coaching. I utilize a holistic framework to help people gain deeper insights into their thought patterns, emotions, and beliefs, fostering lasting change.

A commitment to presence

At the core of my work is a commitment to presence, deep listening, and helping individuals and communities make thoughtful shifts. I help people notice where they may be stuck, uncover patterns that no longer serve them, and move toward ways of working and living that feel more sustainable and life-giving.

Through my own experiences with leadership, career transitions, and personal growth, I’ve learned that lasting change doesn’t come from working harder — it comes from reconnecting with yourself and finding a way forward that honors both your purpose and your humanity.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, I enjoy cycling along the Pacific Highway, walking by the ocean, and staying connected to movement through yoga and weight lifting. I also like learning through audiobooks and podcasts.

I love classic rock and singer-songwriters, and I’m always up for an outdoor concert. Vegan desserts are my go-to treat. Originally from Philadelphia, I enjoy gathering with family to cheer on the Eagles.
